Giving Tuesday opportunity to make a dream come true
November 28, 2017
The holiday season, culminating in New Year’s, symbolizes the opportunity of new life with Christ that we all are given each day. This New Year’s promises a new opportunity for the hopes and dreams of all the years to come true, especially the dream of Archbishop Rwaje in Rwanda.

Now in his last year as Archbishop, Rwaje has a dream to see the Anglican Church of Rwanda thrive, to be financially sound and even empowered and emboldened to reach out to the millions of Rwandans who need help—spiritually, educationally, nutritionally—all in the name of Jesus Christ. He has a dream and a calling, and in this New Year, the dream comes true.
In January, we will break ground on a new retail and office building that will provide a consistent revenue stream to the Anglican Church in Rwanda. Revenue that will enable it to pay its bills and its ministers; to expand its education system to include more children; to provide more food for its parishioners; and to be financially independent. The shovels in the ceremony might be small, but the impact of this project will be huge.
But the dream doesn’t happen without you. The possibility doesn’t fully become reality unless you seize the opportunity. Will you invest in Rwaje’s dream, in his vision, in the impact of this effort?
All year long you can witness the progress, you can experience the excitement, you can envision the lives affected by this building: a classroom of young girls and boys, getting a head start on their education; a mother, dishing up dinner and having enough to really nourish her children and not just deter the hunger pangs; a group of adults immersed in theological education, following their calling to ministry.
One Archbishop’s dream, your investment, and many, many lives propelled forward…this New Year.
Thank you for seizing this opportunity today.
