September Update
September 5, 2017
Dear Friends,
The last several months have been a busy time for us! We’ve been doing all those essential behind-the-scene activities to confirm that we have a winning project: we’ve reviewed our building design and had others review it as well; we’ve updated our real estate study to be sure nothing in the marketplace has changed; and we’ve deepened our financial model and analysis. We’re happy to share that all our recent work affirms that the proposed building project will generate over $200,000 in annual cash flow to the Anglican Church of Rwanda. We are very excited and rapidly moving forward to make this project come to life!
This cash flow will not only replace the funds donated by the US churches formerly under the Rwandan oversight, but also allows the Church to expand and further develop the provincial office according to their strategic plans: by hiring staff, investing in training pastors, and expanding ministries and projects around the country. All will strengthen the Church for years to come.
Thanks to many generous individuals and churches, we have raised almost $900,000 in cash and pledges to date. But we still have a lot more to do. We plan to break ground on the building when at least half of the total project costs has been raised. We’ve set a goal of $400,000 in new contributions and pledges by December 31.
Will you partner with us by sharing our story with your family, friends, colleagues and church? Would you prayerfully consider making a financial donation or pledge?
Please keep us in your prayers, for wisdom as we move toward construction and for success in raising funds. And please stay in touch!
May God bless you richly as you seek and serve Him,

Joey Pierce
