ABOUT WALK WITH RWANDA
OUR STORY
Onesphore Rwaje was installed as Archbishop of the Rwandan province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda in 2011. The province provides essential national strategy and coordination of 11 dioceses, representing 2,300 churches. In a nation with high poverty rates, their 1,100,000 members and related projects serve communities nationwide with essential services such as healthcare, nutrition, and education.
Foreign funding from U.S. churches formerly under Rwandan provincial oversight has been essential, providing for 80% of the operating budget. As those churches transition to the Anglican Church of North America, this funding will soon end.

VISION
To move Christians in Rwanda and around the world to walk and work together to build a strategic, prophetic, Gospel voice in Rwanda through the Anglican Church of Rwanda.
STRATEGY
Archbishop Rwaje has a goal and a plan for the Anglican Church of Rwanda to become financially self-sustaining. This goal is achievable through the Walk with Rwanda capital campaign. We are raising seed money to fund Rwandan Anglican Capital Investments (RACI), a company fully owned by the Anglican Church of Rwanda. This will enable the church to develop current and future assets, providing an income stream for the church.
PARTNERSHIP
Walk with Rwanda is a project of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF). Through the love of Jesus Christ, ARDF strives to connect those who can provide with those who need through a holistic, high impact, and proven community development approach so that believers are strengthened and encouraged, lives are rescued and made whole, and Christ is glorified.
